ギターとウクレレ、さやかと俺

この間福島の友達夫婦、ヨッシとワカのところで泊まらせてくれた。さやかはスノボが大好きで年に少なくても一回スノボに行きたがってた。俺も連れられた。スノボのその前の夜友達のところで一緒にギターを弾いたり歌を歌ったりしたすごくハイでした。またこういう機会を作りたいと思います。さやかも私も凄く幸せな顔をしていたので、この写真は凄く気に入ってるです。ワカさん、写真取ってくれた有難うございました。

My Aunt

Her name is Minna, she used to travel with her friends to Kuching in 1960, At that time, they cannot afford a flight, nor there is any airport or plane nearby. In fact they don't even have proper documents to enter Malaysia. They just know from people in town that in the deep village in Tebas, an old guy does transport
people to Kuching using self built wooden boat. They contacted this guy and set to leave for Kuching several days
later. They leave at night and they went thru the dark ocean of storms and rains. The boat's motor went down halfway and they had to stop in a nearby island. They were not scared at all, nor her friend.my aunt is probably 17 at that time. There were hardly anyone living in that island, they were lucky a local offered them boarding and stayed there for almost 5 days until the boat got to work again. I was told afte the boat finally worked again, it went down again before they were about to reach the jetty in Kuching. They arrived in Kuching before dawn, before anyone can find out. The boat guys contact in Kuching housed them that morning and did necessary contact for them and bring them to see my aunts relative in Kuching. As a boy I saw some of her pictures taken
in Kuching. I didn't know she has to go through so much adventures just for sightseeing in Kuching. But that was her, she loved traveling and has probably travelled a lot of cities in Asia. She came to visit me last month here in Tokyo and we had a good time. That's how she got time to tell me her stories. I wish I had more time to be with my relatives. Listening to their legends has really become my cup of tea.

I got this Tau Cross from a trip to Furen Daxue in XinZhuang, Taipei a while back. Was just checking it's history and realized why it stays with me.

先生の名前の忘れたし、自分はどちの子も認識できなかった。残念でした。

横浜スクラブル・倶楽部

この前ひらいさんに連絡を取りますと初めて横浜スクラブル倶楽部に出席しました。
平井さんは世界スクラブル賞が持ってるらしく強いプレーやです。初めても僕の負けは
決まってます。以下は当日の結果。















ゲームを終わった後一緒に写真をとりました。僕はまだ丸坊主でした。僕のそばに
すごくpedanticな田中さん、真ん中にいる方は平井さんです。遊んで頂き有難う御座いました。

在留資格更新

千葉みなと駅の東京入管出張上で在留資格更新を申し込みしました。
今度は多分3年間貰えるかな。
必要の書類として、念のため以下になります：
●源泉徴収表
●パスポート
●外人登録書
●在職証明書
そして入管で申し込み書を書いて、一番窓口に入れて、
はがきを書いて、一週間ぐらい待ってます。
はがきが来れれば内容を確認して資格を貰えばまた
千葉みなとにはんこを貰います。

引っ越し祝い

前週末7月23日にちょっと小さいな引越し祝いをしました。来客のはヴァンサンさん、四藩さんと令子、ヘンドリックさんとみおさんと娘のかのんさま。私の幸福だね、かのんさまが来れて頂きましたから。昼の十二時から料理を準備します。計画に3種類の料理をしますけど、出来たあとは4種類になりました。チッキンソートと揚げムットンとマイピーザ、サラダ。四藩さんは何でも食べれるそう、家の臭い海老パウダーも味わってた。ピサングゴレングも作ったので、かのん様に一番人気を受けたので、いっぱい食べられたよかったね。皆すごく丁寧で、来るときに御土産も頂きまして嬉しかった。今度もまた小さいパーティをしましょう。皆と集まって話してあって本当に楽しかった。

入パトした。

24日にやっと入パトした。月曜日26日、髪の毛をバリカンで全部マルボズまで切りました。
今は悟りを開きました。僕のアパトの近所さんは上海の女の人です。親さんは峰川といいます、とてもやさしいな人です。僕にレモコン含めの部屋ランプを買っていただいてそしてエアコンのレモコンホルダーも設置して頂きました。
アパトの周辺はとても便利です。ます庭もあるし、暇の時そこで座ってコヒーを飲みたり、本を読んだり、スラブルを遊びたりするつもりです。
近くだけCoCoカレ、ドンキホーテ、ビックリドンキの店があります。他の店もいっぱいあります。駅から十分ぐらい歩かなきゃけど。取りあえずこのアパトが大好き。

東京へ引っ越す

2006年6月17日土曜日やっと東京へ引っ越しました。名古屋のアパとも空にして、すべての荷物をパックして、郵便局に頼んでサヤカのアパとへ送りました。いらないものは全部捨てました。もらった自転車も森さんに頼んで誰かがいる場合にああげときます。次の日にhousing.comのお陰で安く駅から近く広くアパとを見つけました。それを決めたら会社に法人契約をします。今週末の24日アパとに入ります。新しい折れる自転車を買ったけど、またいろんな家具も買わなきゃ。とりあえずアパとは７帖です。庭もあります。嬉しい。

Saint Joseph Church, Pemangkat: I was christened here and spent most of my childhood and teenage years here on sundays, easters and christmases. When I was kid the Father who served here was Fr. Malachias De Jong. When he saw me coming to church for mass, he always hailed me from the window, Kobui...Kobui... which was my name in Hakka.

Toko Betawi, the shop right across our old shop. My parents spent half of their life trying to beat their business or if it is not vice versa. The tension went high one day as the lady across got mad and started yelling dirty words at my mom. It's not easy to live in a small neighborhood where you have to see their face again the next day you open your business.
















Here's my dad's old Shop, we claimed as the most crowdy shop in town, Toko Tepat. It's just a memory now as my dad has moved out to the city center near my Granpa's shop.
















The same sight, it was Chinese lunar year so naturally all the shop were closed. The childhood days were just so clear in my head. I played in this neighborhood along the blocks of houses in the mess of the market and the crowds of people shopping.

Pasar Ikan Pemangkat, it is very dirty here the fish market. I also spent quite a lot of time here, I can still remember the smell. My friend Mardi lives nearby, Toko duaenam. I also ate a lot a the Chinese restaurant next to his Kopitiam.
















This is probably the reminiscent Toko Dua Enam, I don't know who lives here now.

The Old Cinema, which is now bought by one of the rich in town and turned it into a warehouse.
I remember watching a lot of Kungfu movies here with my eldest aunt who loves to take us kid to the movie.

At the temple, SinMuNyong. I guess it should be rendered as 聖母娘 wich is the Matsu God from Taiwan. The guy is the caretaker he beats the drum everytime someone makes an offering at the temple.
















Sekolahnya si Alex, YPN. I took it for his memory. He said it's full of crooks and call girls, what a shame for such a small place like Pemangkat.
